Harvey L. Zeve ’52, is chairman of H. L. Zeve Associates, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based investment counseling firm which he founded in 1984, with more than $340 million under management.
Zeve received a bachelor's degree in management engineering from Rensselaer in 1952. He served as president and as a member of the board of the Rensselaer Alumni Association and headed the Rensselaer Annual Fund for three years. He was a member of the Rensselaer Council since 1983. He received the Rensselaer Alumni Association's Albert Fox Demers Medal in honor of his effort on the Institute's behalf in 1989 as well as the Distinguished Service Award. He is a member of The Stephen Van Rensselaer Society of Patroons of Rensselaer.
He was a member of the board of governors of the American Jewish Committee (Chairman of the Pittsburgh Chapter), is a life trustee and the recipient of the National Human Relations Medallion, and was co-chairman of the Pittsburgh Ethnic Coalition. He also served on the Pennsylvania Governor's Energy Council, and on the Pittsburgh Council for the Elderly.
He served on the Advisors Service Council for the Vanguard Group and as an Esteemed Member of the Advisors Council for the Delaware Group.
